Born in the chaos of hot flushes, brain fog, and a stubborn sense of humour, LouLou is every woman in midlife and menopause.
She forgets why she walked into the room, loses her glasses (while they're on her head), and battles chin hairs with courage and a handy pair of tweezers!
But she's wise, warm, and wonderfully real. LouLou reminds us that midlife isn't an ending; it's just a brand-new exciting chapter (with better stories and stretchier pants).
She's here to laugh with you, cry with you, and fan her way through the madness right alongside you.

The Story Behind LouLou​
LouLou has lived in my head for years - a character bursting to get out and find her people.
Her name comes from my wonderful Dad, who has called me LouLou at various stages of my life (my middle name is Louise!). She carries a little piece of him with her everywhere she goes.

Bringing her to life took a village - or at least one incredibly talented young artist. Working alongside the wonderful Chloe, whose illustrative magic somehow reached inside my imagination and put LouLou exactly onto paper, has been one of the great joys of this journey.
She has been a whole year in the making, and she was absolutely worth the wait.
